Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Winchester, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role involves care across acute care areas and the emergency department, including patient assessment, treatment of pulmonary disease, and providing pulmonary-related education.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Virginia respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in acute care settings.
• BLS (AHA only) certification.
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with inpatient, emergency department, medical-surgical unit, and step-down patients.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12-hour nights).
• Typical schedule: 3x12s per week, approximately 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
