Anesthesiologist – Part-Time Opportunity

Fairbanks, Alaska | Ambulatory Surgery Center | W-2 or 1099

Position Highlights:

Lifestyle ambulatory surgery center position

Part-time: 30–36 hours/week or 3 days/week

Vacation: 8–11 weeks annually

Start Date: December 15, 2025

Compensation: $400,000–$450,000/year

W-2 Employee (preferred) or 1099 Contractor

Bread-and-butter outpatient cases

Regional anesthesia skills are required

Collaborative, supportive team environment

Optional 23-hour patient coverage 1–3 times/year (extra pay)

Clinical Practice:

Cases: Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Neuro Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Endoscopy

80–90% personally performed cases; 10–20% CRNA supervision

Outpatient anesthesia always; pediatric and neuroanesthesia sometimes

Rare trauma cases; no cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetric, or chronic pain

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (Anesthesiology)

Alaska medical license (or eligibility)

Current ACLS certification

New graduates welcome
