The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting in Thornton, CO. Minimum Qualifications An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology. Current ARRT (N) or CNMT certification. Current state license or certification required to practice nuclear medicine in Colorado. BLS certification. Minimum 6 months current acute care nuclear medicine technologist experience. (Client requirement.) Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures such as stress tests, HIDA, and brain scans. Preferred Qualifications Prior Meditech experience. Radiation safety and radiation experience. Detail oriented, flexible, and able to work in a small team environment. Assignment Details Shift Hours: 0800-1600. Call requirement: vendor call shift every other weekend. Typical unit staffing: two full-time day staff with on-call coverage nights and weekends. Patient ratio typically 1:1.
