Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 8-Hour Shift

We are excited to announce that we are under new management and are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Director of Social Services to join our team!

The Director of Social Services plays a key leadership role in overseeing social services and ensuring that the individuals we serve receive the support, advocacy, and resources they need to thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, plan, develop, and oversee social service programs and initiatives.

• Supervise, mentor, and support social services staff while promoting professional growth.

• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

• Advocate for residents and ensure their psychosocial needs are identified and addressed.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with nursing, administration, activities, rehabilitation, and other departments to provide coordinated, person-centered care.

• Monitor and evaluate programs to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Assist with managing program budgets and resources effectively.

• Support behavioral health and psychosocial needs through appropriate resources, referrals, and interventions.

• Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, or a related field preferred.

• Licensed Social Worker required.

• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), nursing home, or long-term care setting required.

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of social services, behavioral health, and long-term care regulations.

• Compassionate, professional, and committed to advocating for residents and their families.
