About The Opportunity We are seeking a detail‑oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to uphold quality standards. Location: South Windsor, CT Onsite 5 days a week Monday – Friday 1 st shift Responsibilities Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements. Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist in the development and improvement of quality systems to enhance overall product quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years relevant experience in quality assurance manufacturing. Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies. Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM. Experience with analysis software such as Calypso for data evaluation (can be learned over time). Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments. Physical Requirements Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
