Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, 811 Wright St, Arlington, TX 76012 Work hours: Full-time, Days; 7:00am to 7:00pm shift; 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays. CV ICU highlights: Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team 47 bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27 bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. We have achieved AHA's Gold Plus award for five years in a row and Beacon Award Silver level through AACN for Cardiac Telemetry and CVICU. We are also 5 star rated through CMS. We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, TAVR, Impella, IABP, and Lung procedures. As well as general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, post heart catheterization including angioplasty, stenting, electrophysiology studies, and device implantation.

Here's What You Need:

Nursing Diploma Nursing is required. Associate's Degree Nursing required Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire is required. One (1) year as a RN is required. BCLS is required upon hire with an expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.

What You Will Do:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
