Rehabilitation Specialist

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In this role your tasks will be diversified and you will be supporting our mission. Coordinate activities for residents of care and treatment facilities. This position is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day Assess resident needs, designs, and implements rehabilitation programs. Perform skill training, cognitive remediation, job coaching, and behavior management objectives in accordance with treatment plan. Reinforce appropriate behavior and skills in residential, community, and day/vocational settings, utilizing direct feedback, role-playing, modeling, and behavior modification techniques. Assist in the planning, scheduling, implementation, and evaluations of social, emotional, recreational, vocational, and related therapeutic programs for individuals served. Prepare communication book, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation. Arrange for or transport individuals served to all planned activities in the community. Maintains current and complete client records in accordance with program standards, corporate, licensing and regulatory policies. Collects and reports data relevant to rehabilitation goals and administrative policy. Develops and implements, with supervisory input, schedule to ensure adequate direct care coverage and assistance in emergency coverage. Assists with emergency coverage and crisis intervention for all clients as needed and participates in rotational on-call program Qualifications High School Diploma Valid driver’s license in good standing Effective problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and acute attention to detail required A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach A commitment to quality in everything you do Other Requirements Travel as needed Physical Requirements Heavy work.
