Manufacturing Machine Operator

Machine Operator – Mechanical Mindset Required

Night Shift | (9 PM – 7 AM)
Training on day shift

Not just looking for a job? Good-we're not looking for just anyone.

We're hiring someone who already knows their way around tools, equipment, or machinery-and actually enjoys figuring out how things work.

At Laclede Chain, you won't just push buttons. You'll run, adjust, and troubleshoot real production equipment while building skills that can turn into a long-term career.

What You'll Do

• Operate and adjust chain-making machines
• Troubleshoot issues and keep production running
• Inspect product quality and make corrections
• Work hands-on with tools and equipment every day

What We Need

• Mechanical experience (automotive, farm, shop, military, or similar)
• Comfortable using tools and working on equipment
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Willing to work in a loud, industrial environment

Important: This role requires hands-on mechanical ability -not just interest.

Why This Job Stands Out

• Clear path from Operator I → III (with pay increases)
• Real skill-building (not just repetitive work)
• Team that values people who can "figure it out"
