Are you an experienced Class A CDL Driver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume yard environment ?

UNIS Transportation is looking for experienced drivers to join our team!

This is a local driving position involving shuttle runs between nearby distribution facilities, as well as operating a yard goat to safely move trailers throughout a busy yard .

• Shuttle trailers and freight between nearby distribution facilities
• Operate a yard goat in a busy, high-volume yard
• Perform trailer moves, drops, hooks, and yard positioning
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company regulations
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment

This position is ideal for experienced Class A drivers who are comfortable working around constant trailer movement and understand the importance of safety, awareness, and efficiency in a busy yard environment .

• $28.00 per hour
• Local work – home daily
• Consistent 1st shift schedule

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
• Experience operating in a high-volume yard environment
• Experience with yard goat / hostler operations preferred
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Acceptable MVR and safety record
• No DUIs or major driving violations
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, vehicle inspections, and safe driving practices
• Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
