Assistant Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Platt team in Spokane Valley, WA. Summary The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in day‑to‑day operations of the branch and serving as acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include inventory management, accounts payable, vendor returns, equipment and vehicle maintenance, and overall branch safety. What You’ll Do Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the branch and act as manager when the Branch Manager is absent Manage inventory, including cycle counting, daily stock replenishment, inventory adjustments, and stocking codes and locations Ensure branch safety by reporting, monitoring, and correcting safety hazards Provide customer service at the counter or over the phone Maintain company vehicles by scheduling maintenance and repairs Coach and support employees in collaboration with the Branch Manager Support sales through quotations Maintain a clean and organized branch Perform other duties as assigned Job Duties Disclaimer The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. Pay Range For the state of Washington only, the pay range is $24.00 to $30.20, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
