Screw Machinist $25 - $35 per hour | Willowbrook, IL | On-site | Permanent Screw Machinist Needed For Leading Manufacturing Company My client is a leading manufacturing company and they are growing! They are looking to add a Screw Machinist to their team. Compensation Up to $35/hr. Responsibilities Operate and maintain screw machines to produce high-quality parts. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand product specifications. Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues that may arise during production. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Provide training and guidance to junior machinists, as needed. Assist in the maintenance and repair of machine tools and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a screw machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
