Senior Data EngineerThe Senior Data Engineer designs and builds scalable data pipelines and architectures that enable reliable analytics and reporting. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, well-modeled, secure, and production-ready data solutions.Responsibilities– Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.– Design data models and implement best practices for warehousing and governance.– Ensure data quality, reliability, and pipeline observability.– Optimize data processing performance and storage costs.– Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers and offshore team.– Implement security, privacy, and compliance standards across platforms like Databricks, AWS and Snowflake.– Automate and improve SDLC workflows for data engineering teams.– Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and workloads for performance.– Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar tools.– Implement or enhance alerting and monitoring for data pipelines and systems.
