Assistant Baker

Assistant Baker – Food & Beverage As a bakery assistant with a passion for baking and quality craftsmanship, you play a key role in delivering freshly made products and supporting smooth day-to-day operations in our bakery. This position is essential to producing high-quality breads, pies and pastries while contributing to a friendly, efficient workplace. Working closely with a small, dedicated team, you help create exceptional products that are enjoyed both in-house and across other areas of the business. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pies, sausage rolls, and various pastries Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and directions Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mixers, ovens, dough rollers) Support daily production goals and maintain product quality standards Package and label baked goods for distribution or sale Keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards Assist with stock rotation and inventory control Support other team members and contribute to a positive working environment Follow all health and safety policies and procedures Experience / Qualifications Previous experience in a commercial bakery or food preparation setting Familiarity with different types of baked goods and baking techniques Reports to: Head Baker #J-18808-Ljbffr
