Requirements - A Senior Speech Pathologist must have:

• active ASHA CCC’s

• a minimum of 4 years’ clinical experience with pediatrics

• at least 1 year of experience in a leadership or mentorship role

• a strong Continuing Education resume

Management Duties - As a Senior Speech Pathologist you will:

• Mentor individual SLP’s by observing, modeling, and training to enhance professional growth in all areas.

• Act as a liaison between SLP team and other disciplines

• Provide constructive feedback for monthly and Annual Performance Reviews of SLPs.

• Assist with Onboarding of new hires.

• Manage Speech Therapy materials and Supplies and notify Office Manager &/or Clinical Director when items need restocking or replacement.

• Maintain company productivity standards.

* Direct Patient Care, Paperwork, and Management Time will be determined based on clinic needs.

• Investigate and promote appropriate Continuing Education to further advance Speech Team’s expertise.

Clinical Duties:

• Conduct Initial Evaluations and Re-evaluations using formal and informal measures.

• Synthesize evaluation results to confirm or rule out appropriate diagnoses and formulate an Individualized Plan of Care.

• Perform Weekly Therapy Sessions using evidence-based practice.

• Provide Parent Education and Home Programming following each therapy session.

• Complete accurate documentation of evaluations and therapy sessions in a timely manner.

• Ensure a clean and safe treatment space.

• Collaborate with other team members to include Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Audiology, and Administrative Staff.

• Refer to professionals outside our system when in the best interest of our patients and families.

• Attend Weekly Round Table Meetings and any additional meetings determined by your Clinical Director, Supervisor, or Company Owner.

• Pursue relevant Continuing Education to best serve our patient population.

• Assume other projects and responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.

• Abide by all company Policies & Procedures.

Administrative Duties :

• Actively communicate by email through Microsoft Outlook.

• Complete scheduling and documentation via Practice Perfect.

• Utilize Payroll System to report time worked and request time off.

• Submit Weekly Productivity Stats.

• Identify and review billing codes.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs (ST).

• Must be able to read small print.

• Must be able to interact verbally with children, caregivers and the public.

• Must be able to type on a keyboard.
