We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dining Services Cook to join our culinary team. As a cook at Hampton Nursing and Rehab, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Our facility is committed to serving high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Ensure that all food served meets nutritional and safety standards
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special occasions and events
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, staff, and visitors
Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
Assist with ordering and receiving supplies and equipment

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous cooking experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
