About the Position

Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Rad Therapist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must be licensed as a Clienttion Therapist in New York (can obtain during onboarding) Certifications: ARRT certification Must-Have: - Satisfactory completion of a training program in Clienttion Therapy Technology. - Must meet the requirements for registry by ARRT. - Must adhere to radiation safety protocols as outlined by relevant regulatory bodies. Description: The Clienttion Therapist will administer ionizing radiation and radioactive substances to patients under the supervision of a Clienttion Oncologist. This is done in accordance with the guidelines of the Client. The Clienttion Therapist must operate high-voltage machinery safely and accurately. It is essential to communicate any malfunctions to pertinent personnel immediately. The individual must prioritize the welfare of the patient at all times. Professional conduct is vital to the well-being of the radiation oncology patient. The Clienttion Therapist will provide radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist according to established practices. Accurate entry and maintenance of patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record are required. The therapist must accurately interpret computerized treatment plans. Daily observations of patients for reactions should be conducted, with immediate reporting of any adverse reactions to the Clienttion Oncology Nurse or the Clienttion Oncologist. The Clienttion Therapist should facilitate complex problem-solving regarding technical issues. Adherence to established radiation safety protocols is mandatory.
