Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery

Specialty: Outpatient Surgery / Total Joint
Location: Calabasas, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Outpatient Surgery setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Ambulatory Surgery and Operating Room environments, with mandatory Total Joint experience .

• 8-Hour Day Shifts
• Scheduled between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage as needed
• No on-call requirement

• Minimum 1 year of Ambulatory Surgery and Operating Room experience required
• Total Joint experience required ( Hard Stop )
• First-time travelers accepted

• Active RN License required at submission
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)

• Provide nursing care throughout the surgical patient journey in an outpatient setting
• Support orthopedic and total joint surgical procedures
• Perform patient assessments and monitor patient status before and after procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
