- # Federal Grants Management Transformation Senior ConsultantApplylocations: US - GA, Atlantatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 43120**Job Family:**Strategy & Transformation Consulting**Travel Required:**Up to 10%**Clearance Required:**Ability to Obtain NACI**What You Will Do:**Federal Grants Management Transformation Senior Consultants help our federal clients shape how their grants programs are structured, governed, and delivered; transform their grants management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness; modernize federal grants operations through data analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled tools; increase transparency and accountability for the federal funds distributed to grantees; and comply with Federal laws and regulations.As a senior consultant, you will be a critical member of your project teams, conducting requirements gathering and strategy sessions with senior-level clients, designing and implementing solutions to support complex change and enhance grants effectiveness; building trusted relationships with clients and their grantees, and mentoring more junior staff. You will support areas such as strategic planning, financial management, monitoring and compliance, and stakeholder engagement to provide full lifecycle grants management support.As a senior consultant, you will have an opportunity to deepen your specialized knowledge and consulting skills, with room for long-term professional growth and career development within the firm. This role is an exciting opportunity to guide clients through transformative programs and to be a part of an impactful mission.Specific responsibilities will Include:* Collaborate with federal health clients to establish or enhance grants management processes and procedures across the entire grants lifecycle* Guide clients through complex grants transformation efforts using approaches grounded in best practices for federal grants management, process improvement/optimization, change management, and stakeholder engagement* Plan and facilitate large and small group meetings and working sessions, including for executive level clients to gather requirements, identify pain points, develop strategies, present recommendations, and obtain buy-in* Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to collect quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., interviews, focus groups, questionnaires, listening sessions, document/dataset reviews)* Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and develop meaningful insights to address complex grants management challenges and support client decision-making* Lead the end-to-end development of client work products, such as root cause and gap analysis, findings and recommendation reports, requirements documents, Visio process flows, standard operating procedures, strategic plans, strategic communications, and reporting dashboards* Effectively and concisely communicate and present information to clients, leadership, and various stakeholder groups* Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment* Build and sustain meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues* Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members* Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture and collaborative working environment* Understand and use firm capabilities, solutions, and methodologies* Support internal and business development initiatives, such as communities of practice and proposals**What You Will Need:*** Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "NACI"; candidates with an ACTIVE NACI or SUITABILITY are preferred.* Bachelor’s degree* THREE (3) years or more of relevant professional experience including TWO (2) years of grants management experience at a federal agency; state, city, or county government; or consulting firm* Experience in grants strategy, transformation, process improvement, technical assistance, recipient engagement, and/or evaluation* Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Master’s Degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, MPP, MHA, MPA, MSOD)* Change management, facilitation, process improvement, or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, CAPM, PMP, or CCMP)* Experience supporting federal health organizations (i.e., CDC)* 2+ year experience leading projects or large workstreams, including overseeing a team of 2+ staff and managing project timelines* Experience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvements* Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirements* Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically, with a keen attention to detail* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment* Ability to investigate, make sense of, and break down complex client challenges into clear, digestible approaches and solutions* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels in an organization;
