Job Description: Warehouse Accounting Analyst

 

Must take and pass an Excel quiz in order to be presented for interview.

 

The Accounting Analyst supports daily warehouse and production operations by reviewing costs, processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting. This role works closely with accounting, operations, management, and vendors to ensure payments, reports, and records are accurate and completed on time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and track daily operational and production costs
• Prepare month-end financial and operational reports
• Match invoices, purchase orders, and receipts before processing payments
• Reconcile payments and audit vendor statements
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues with vendors
• Maintain vendor files, records, and documentation
• Analyze data and provide reports to management
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments
• Support management with business and operational reporting needs
• Ensure reports and processes follow company procedures and deadlines

Schedule & Work Requirements:

• Must be open to overtime
• Must be open to weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and distribution setting
• Fast-paced environment around moving equipment
• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if needed

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of accounting or finance experience
• 1–2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Basic accounting or accounts payable knowledge
• Strong data entry and reporting experience
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask

 

Computer Skills:

• Strong computer skills required
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
• Experience with SAP accounting system preferred
