Addison Group is partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. Job Description:

The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in handling a variety of real estate transactions from start to finish. This role involves coordinating deal logistics, managing documentation, and assisting with due diligence efforts across multiple matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with drafting and reviewing purchase agreements and other real estate transaction documents
• Track key dates and maintain transaction checklists throughout the lifecycle of deals
• Analyze title reports, surveys, and zoning documents; help resolve related issues
• Support due diligence efforts by ordering, reviewing, and summarizing reports and searches
• Prepare closing materials and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other parties
• Draft and file UCC financing statements and related documentation
• Review lease agreements and prepare abstracts as needed
• Facilitate closing processes and compile electronic closing binders
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems and communicate updates to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal within a law firm environment
• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required
• Hands-on experience with real estate transactions, including leases, title review, and UCC filings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and strong organizational abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage) and Adobe is a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Stable work history preferred

Additional Details:

• Contract-to-hire opportunity (initial contract estimated around 3 months)

• Non-exempt role with overtime eligibility
