Travel Physical Therapist - Long Term Care - $2,218 per week

Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist position in Purcell, Oklahoma. Start date May 25, 2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shift, no on‑call or weekends. Requires Oklahoma State license. Responsibilities Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practices to support clinical interventions. Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care. Assess patient progress, adjust treatments, and document per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient evaluations. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders. Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Document all regulatory and clinically required information in electronic documentation system. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and in‑services. Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students. Adhere to APTA and state‑required practice acts and codes of conduct during professional practice. Qualifications 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required; new graduates acceptable with Level II experience. Experience in Long‑Term Care or Rehabilitation preferred.
