As a Clinical Staff Educator, you will provide education and instruction to clinical staff, introducing technical and theoretical concepts in teaching techniques. You will work closely with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators to develop educational programs and utilize simulation training to enhance learning experiences. Your role will be integral in promoting continuous improvement and identifying educational opportunities across the healthcare system.

• Provide education and instruction for clinical staff
• Act as a resource for healthcare education and training programs
• Develop and evaluate educational programs and participant learning
• Utilize simulation training with mannequins and software
• Collaborate with Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively and convey empathy and compassion
• Support the hospital's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required (or equivalent experience with commitment to obtain degree within 3 years)
• Master of Science in Nursing Degree strongly preferred
• Current Oregon RN license
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, ACLS, and PALS certified
• Minimum of 5 years hospital nursing experience
• 3 years of OR experience required
• Experience with teaching and developing courses preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Need 2 years experience in setting
