About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Wednesday - Friday Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: GE and Siemens experience preferred Description: The role involves performing a variety of imaging studies within a CT department. Technologists will operate 5 scanners in the department. An average of 25 scans/studies is expected to be performed each day. Experience with EMR & PACS systems is necessary, specifically with Epic and Fuji Synapse. Clinicians must have the ability to start IVs as required by the department. Weekend and holiday work is required. There is no self-scheduling or block scheduling for shifts. Technologists will report to a supervisor or lead technologist and work collaboratively in a team environment. Department specific orientation is provided to help familiarize with equipment and protocols. Travelers may be asked to float within designated zones if needed. The department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants, and there is an in-house radiologist available. The hospital has a Trauma Level 1 designation, indicating an acute care setting.
