The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the services provided for patients in imaging departments. The position requires functioning as both a procedure nurse and supporting the clinical needs of all patients utilizing imaging services at various campuses. Responsibilities include: Linking hospital and physicians by coordinating services for inpatients and outpatients. Conducting preadmission nursing assessments and coordinating related tests and procedures with physicians and other relevant groups. Providing post-procedure care and assessment for inpatient and outpatient procedures. Promoting quality patient care by establishing and monitoring standards of care. Unit Description: Work in various imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine, each with specific nursing needs. Engage in procedural responsibilities for both inpatient and outpatient care. Participate in specialized programs, such as the Breast Navigator program for guiding patients through the breast biopsy process. Maintain programs like the Lung Navigation program for CT and MRI patient care and facilitation.
