Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role requires working in a high acuity PCU with plans to transition to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by the end of 2026. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Provide skilled nursing care to high acuity cardiac patients
• Transition to caring for patients in ICU as required
• Manage post-operative care for cardiac and vascular surgeries
• Administer critical medications and monitor cardiac drips
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Utilize EPIC EMR for comprehensive patient documentation
• Adapt to floating within scope across similar units

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years in ICU or PCU experience, CVICU preferred
• Experience with Swanz, Impella, and general ICU skills
