Schedule:

4 weekend shifts per month; 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in Labor & Delivery

- Labor & Delivery unit with 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and 3-bed Obstetric Emergency Department- Comprehensive 24/7 support including laborist team model, in-house midwives, dedicated CRNA, and on-call OBGYN- Advanced patient care including spinning babies techniques, STABLE protocols, Nitrous Oxide, JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management, IUPC, and FSE placement- Documentation using CPN and Meditech systems with dedicated unit secretary and scrub tech support- Recognized as HCA Unit of Distinction 2021 and TIPQC Pilot Hospital for NTSV and Team Birth initiatives- Couplet care model promoting breastfeeding and family-centered care with donor milk availability and 8-bed Level 2 NICU with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage

Requirements:

- Current Tennessee RN license (or eligibility for licensure)- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required- Fetal monitoring certification required- Labor and delivery nursing experience preferred- Circulating in OR experience helpful- Commitment to providing highest quality care and supporting patient choice in vaginal birth opportunities
