Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

Want to practice good medicine in an environment where your growth matters as much as your patients' care?

This opportunity in the Hampton Roads region could be a strong fit for a veterinarian who values clinical independence, supportive leadership, and a sustainable career.

The practice welcomes both experienced doctors and veterinarians earlier in their careers. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients, continue developing your clinical skills, and work in an environment that recognizes the importance of having guidance when you need it without unnecessary restrictions on how you practice.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

• Mentorship that supports your development: Learn from experienced veterinary leadership with a background in advanced emergency medicine, surgery, and veterinary education.

• Freedom to grow clinically: Bring your own judgment and interests to patient care while having support available when questions arise.

• A leadership style that values people: Individual needs, professional development, and personal well-being are important considerations.

• A meaningful long-term path: Explore opportunities for continued education, leadership development, and potential practice ownership.

• Earning potential that grows with performance: A guaranteed base salary is paired with production-based compensation, without negative accrual.

What You'll Be Doing

The role offers a focus on general practice and/or urgent care. It may appeal to veterinarians who enjoy delivering comprehensive patient care, communicating with pet owners, and continuing to expand their clinical capabilities.

Who Might Thrive Here

This could be a good match for a newer veterinarian who values access to mentorship, or an experienced clinician ready for a practice that respects professional judgment and offers room to grow. A collaborative mindset and commitment to quality patient care are important.
