Inventory Control Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

JARED INVENTORY CLERK

Supervised directly by the General Manager;

supervised by Assistant Manager in Manager's absence;

Sales Support Manager as applicable.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Contributes to an environment of total customer satisfaction by making the

customer's needs the first priority.

2. Inspects and checks in inbound parcels, mail, inventory and supplies.

3. Inspects the accuracy of packing lists and verifies shipments. Updates

inventories as required.

4. Maintains logs and reconciles transfer detail report as required in

preparation for Manager's review.

5. Maintains receiving area in a clean and organized manner.

6. Assists in the transfer/moving of merchandise to the office, Repair

Department and/or sales floor in strict compliance with security and loss

prevention guidelines. Never leaves merchandise unsecured or

unattended.

7. Audits and verifies departmental case counts.

8. Adheres to all established security and loss prevention policies and

procedures.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Controls the inventory of general store supplies.

2. Assists in preparing outbound shipments utilizing carriers as directed.

3. Assists in maintaining all inside and outside areas of the store as directed.

4. Assists with general office duties as required.

5. Stocks and maintains public restrooms.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Ability to accurately count and complete varied administrative tasks.

2. Strong self-initiative and ability to work independently.3. Ability to maintain "inventory control awareness" and to proactively order

supplies.

4. Professional approach and image.

5. General jewelry knowledge.
