About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight of all accounting and financial activities. The CFO will be responsible for leading and managing the financial department, including establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and performance expectations. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the organization's business objectives. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. A CPA designation is required, and experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and people-management skills, strong business and financial acumen, and in-depth knowledge of financial principles. The CFO must be adept at financial analysis, have strong strategic planning abilities, and be capable of managing multiple priorities and projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders.
