About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to support its Maritime Division in Australia. This role is pivotal in connecting various operational aspects to ensure global excellence. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the Australian general manager, lead strategic initiatives, and drive change management efforts. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for facilitating the decision-making process, coordinating executive meetings, and project management across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the Chief of Staff position at the company will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and humility. They should be adept at building trust in a fast-paced environment and be committed to the values of the organization. The role requires a versatile individual with a big-picture perspective, capable of working across diverse operational areas to achieve the company's goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile, analytical, and big-picture thinker to join a dynamic and innovative team. The role demands a high level of collaboration, idea-sharing, and a passion for the maritime domain. The Chief of Staff will be part of the global Division Operations team within Maritime and will play a key role in the company's mission to bring cutting-edge technology to the military. The position is suited to a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in operations, preferably in an early-stage start-up, consultancy, or similar environment. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills, be self-driven, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving. A strong sense of ownership, a low ego, and the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance is essential.
