Job Description
Title: NICU Registered Nurse Schedule: 12H Rotating (Day/Night) Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 17 weeks Requirements:
- AHA BLS and NRP required
- NICU level III experience is required
- Previous travel experience preferred; candidates without travel experience must have large (500+ bed count) NICU teaching facility experience
- A minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
- Teaching facility experience required
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for newborns in the NICU
- Float as required to other areas including mother/baby, newborn rounds, nursery, and attending deliveries
- Participate in pediatric and pediatric intensive care units (PICU) with neonate feeder/grower responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the best outcomes for patients Compliance / Notes:
- Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable transportation is required
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November through April
