Social Media Content Creator Intern

The Tone: This is a flexible internship at Markkit, a company building an AI-powered marketing platform to help businesses create high-quality ads, social media content, and branding faster. As an early-stage startup, Markkit is focused on building the future of AI-powered marketing. This role matters because it offers the chance to gain real-world experience, help grow a fast-moving company, and shape the voice of an innovative brand. The TL;DR Role: Internship Type: Flexible Location: Remote Team: Collaborates directly with the founding team. Mission: Create engaging, UGC-style content to help Markkit reach new audiences and maintain a consistent brand presence. What You’ll Actually Do Content Creation: Create engaging UGC-style videos and short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube Shorts. Idea Generation: Brainstorm creative content ideas and marketing campaigns to connect with target audiences. Trend Research: Research social media trends and identify opportunities to reach new audiences and enhance engagement. Content Management: Assist with planning, organizing, and scheduling content across various social platforms. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team on product launches, new feature announcements, and other marketing initiatives. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-Level. Interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, with a focus on short-form video content. Experience: No prior professional experience or large social media following is required; aspiring content creators are encouraged to apply. Skills: Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn, strong communication skills, organized, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable receiving feedback.
