Cage Cashier

Overview Job Title: Cage Cashier Department: Accounting & Finance – Oil Spring Type: 1 FT @ $16.12 + tips Deadline: Open until filled Responsibilities Provide monetary services for SGE guests, including exchanging tickets for cash; processing advances drawn from credit and debit cards; establishing and processing transactions for patron deposit accounts; and making change. Provide monetary services for other casino departments and team members, including duties of a Main Banker and General Cashier Banker. Maintain and support various remote kiosks servicing guests and other casino departments. Perform duties within Seneca Gaming and Entertainment policies and Internal Control Standards. Maintain and reconcile all assigned SGE assets during the shift or gaming day. Allot jackpots to slot attendants for payment to guests; distribute and collect slot attendant banks. Distribute and collect cashier banks and order monies through exchange slips. Redeem tickets for currency and coin; complete cash advances and cash checks. Use coin sorters, wrappers and currency counters; count down station/float/bank; verify money received from vault/bank/drop. Conform to all rules and regulations of SGE CTR / SAR Compliance. Accept and distribute funds representing withdrawals and wire transfers. Maintain remote kiosks for redemptions, purchases, jackpots, etc., as necessary. Maintain counter check inventories and deposits; process transactions affecting those inventories. Maintain accountability for assigned keys and key inventories. Provide assistance to the immediate supervisor as needed. Remain knowledgeable of all appropriate regulations and maintain confidentiality of gaming records. Work closely with team members of gaming departments and casino cage departments. Maintain current understanding of policies regarding information security and comply with all information security policies and procedures. Provide exceptional guest service in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Complete all required SGE Training programs within specified guidelines from the start of employment. Attend all necessary meetings. Roles, responsibilities, requirements and expectations are subject to change; other duties may be assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of previous cashier or money handling experience required. Previous customer service experience or ability to demonstrate high-level service, listening and resolution skills required. Previous clerical/data entry experience preferred. Basic knowledge of start-up and close-down of cash registers preferred. Knowledge/operational skills of coin counters, coin wrapping machines and currency counters preferred. Ability to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, PC, telephone, and multi-function photocopier. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
