Courier Position Are you someone who enjoys being out in the field, staying active, and being a trusted point of contact for clients? First Legal is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Courier to support our Sacramento operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in the legal processsafely and accurately transporting documents, filing at local courthouses, and supporting time-sensitive service requests throughout Sacramento County and surrounding areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Pick up and deliver legal documents, mail, packages, and boxes to businesses, residences, and courthouses File documents at County Courthouses and retrieve copies of official records Complete process serving requests as assigned Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients Communicate proactively with your Supervisor regarding issues, delays, or concerns Follow dispatch instructions while prioritizing accuracy and timeliness Represent First Legal professionally at all times while on the road Job Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 points or fewer) Reliable personal vehicle (truck, van, or large SUV a plus) Valid auto insurance (verified quarterly) Ability to pass a background check Prior courier or professional driving experience 5+ years of general work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Courteous driving habits and strict adherence to traffic laws High school diploma or GED Additional Requirements: Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs Use of a dolly for larger deliveries as needed Willingness to work occasional overtime Schedule/Location: Location: Sacramento, CA Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Budgeted Hours: 40 hours per week, plus occasional overtime Pay: $19$22 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement About First Legal: We believe that diversity is integral to our success, and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, or any other basis protected by law.
