Front End Developer

Our client, a leading organization in media technology and operations, is seeking a Developer - Front End III to join their team. As a Developer - Front End III, you will be part of the Media Sys Architecture & Dev group supporting innovative media workflows and content management systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to translate technical requirements effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Developer - Front End III

Location: Silver Spring, MD

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain applications using multiple frameworks, working in Jira and Git.

• Translate user stories into functional, scalable, and secure front-end solutions.

• Build efficient, responsive, and visually appealing pages for operational teams.

• Collaborate on new application designs and connect backend endpoints to front-end views.

• Proactively address technical issues and participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.

What's Needed?

• At least 5+ years of experience building front-end applications for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including visualization and status tracking dashboards.

• Strong knowledge of web development standards and best practices.

• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js, along with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design.

• Understanding of asynchronous request handling and RESTful APIs.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
