Alliance Labor Group is assisting a Global Logistics company in Elk Grove Village, IL recruit for a 1st shift CSR. The CSR will be responsible for working as a liaison between the warehouse, customers and truckers to ensure customer requests are completed timely and accurately. Handle daily inventory management through use of WMS and Excel reporting.

Responsibilities for the CSR include but are not limited to:

· Provide accurate, consistent numbers on all paperwork

· Perform customer service duties with correspondence to customers and overseas partners, emails, etc.

· Provide customers with shipping information, inbound/outbound transactions, and inventory status information

· Ability to work well and contribute in a team setting

· Set up and maintain customer files and profiles

· Update inventory data, rate files and report generation

· Update statement data and issue invoices for customers in a timely manner

· Perform other duties as requested by management

Core Skills and Qualifications:

· High School or GED diploma and or 2 years experience in a related field

· Knowledge of inventory control and customer service techniques

· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) including VLOOKUP

· Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry for both international and domestic

· Ability to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage, duty and other charges
