Clinical Lab Assistant

Job Description

A client of ours in Livingston, NJ, is looking for a clinical lab assistant to help create collection kits, register temperatures, place orders for general lab supplies, store general lab supplies, accession samples using a laboratory information management system, etc. This will be a 6 mo contract with extensions, eventual conversion. The shift is Tues-Saturday 10am-6pm.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Sciences

-Knowledge of the proper use of laboratory equipment

•Ability to communicate and collaborate with other professionals within the company and clients, as needed

•Ability to understand and apply Safety Standards and Good Lab Practices

•Working knowledge using Microsoft Office suite of applications

•Good oral and written communication skills -Previous Genetic experience

-Biology Degree
