Clinical Lab Assistant

Job Description

A client of ours in Livingston, NJ, is looking for a clinical lab assistant to help create collection kits, register temperatures, place orders for general lab supplies, store general lab supplies, accession samples using a laboratory information management system, etc. This will be a 6 mo contract with extensions, eventual conversion. The shift is Tues-Saturday 10am-6pm.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Sciences

-Knowledge of the proper use of laboratory equipment

-Ability to communicate and collaborate with other professionals within the company and clients, as needed

-Ability to understand and apply Safety Standards and Good Lab Practices

-Working knowledge using Microsoft Office suite of applications

-Good oral and written communication skills -Previous Genetic experience

-Biology Degree
