Health Unit Coordinator HUC

Chapel View, a Cassia community, is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team in Hopkins, MN.

As a Health Unit Coordinator at Chapel View , you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has a knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Position Type: Full-Time, working in long-term care.

Shifts Available:
Monday through Friday, Day hours.

Wage Range: $22.00 to $26.82 per hour depending on experience

Location: 615 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins, MN 55343

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities:

• Enter physician's orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Qualifications:

• Experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
• Experience with Matrix is a plus!
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
