Pharmacy Technician IIOrlando Health is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician II to join our team and help support safe, accurate, and high-quality medication services for our patients. Collaborate with experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals, work with advanced pharmacy technology and medication distribution systems, access professional development and continuing education opportunities, and be part of a supportive team that values growth, teamwork, and excellence.Position Summary & Duties:Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distributionMaintain medication inventory and support procurement processesPerform pharmacy technician duties in accordance with departmental policies and proceduresSupport sterile compounding and aseptic techniques, including specialty medicationsOperate pharmacy technology and automated dispensing systemsMaintain USP 797 standards and required regulatory documentationEnsure safe handling and disposal of medicationsAssist with special projects and departmental initiativesTrain and mentor new pharmacy technicians as neededMaintain advanced expertise in specialized pharmacy practice areasSupport customer service and patient care through collaboration with healthcare teamsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredGreater than one (1) year and up to four (4) years of Pharmacy Technician experienceActive Pharmacy Technician Registration requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environmentJoin the Orlando Health Team At Orlando Health, team members contribute to a culture centered around patient care, innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
