Contract: 6+ Months | 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Project Manager to support the Enterprise Program Office at the Client on multiple technology initiatives. The primary projects will include a CAD/RMS software implementation, vanpool software feasibility study, and other IT projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing SaaS/software implementations, developing detailed project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and issues, and communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT and SaaS/software implementation projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies using tools such as RAID logs and project trackers.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks.
• Plan and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
• Prepare regular project status reports and communicate project health, risks, decisions, and next steps to leadership.
• Coordinate activities between IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and support change management activities related to technology implementations.
• Support the evaluation and feasibility study of software solutions, including requirements gathering and stakeholder coordination.
• Provide project management support for additional Enterprise Program Office initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing SaaS/software implementations.
• Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling projects.
• Hands-on experience with RAID logs, status reporting, project plans, action tracking, and other PM tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience planning and facilitating meetings with technical and business teams.
• Experience managing vendors and third-party implementation partners.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD/RMS, public safety, transportation, or transit technology.
• Experience working within a PMO or Enterprise Program Office.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Public sector/government project experience.
