Clinical SupervisorGreat opportunity for an experienced MSW professional seeking the next step in their career!SUS is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our transitional shelter located at St. John's Place in Brooklyn, NY 11213.The Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to Case Managers addressing mental health and substance use concerns, suicide prevention, psychiatric emergencies, crisis intervention, and client-related incidents.The Clinical Supervisor will also develop and maintain on-site supportive services, including peer support, relapse prevention, housing readiness, activities of daily living, and health education groups. This position will serve as a liaison to the HRA HIV/AIDS Services Administration Emergency Placement Unit (HASA-EPU) regarding admissions and room closures.Job RequirementsRequired QualificationsMaster of Social Work (MSW) degree requiredMinimum of two years of supervisory experienceClinical experience working with individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use disorders, mental illness, and homelessnessStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsNew York State social work license preferred but not requiredCandidates holding a limited permit are encouraged to applyCASAC or CASAC-T certification strongly preferredKnowledge of the NYC HRA HASA benefits and entitlement systemExperience working in a residential or shelter settingExperience with group facilitation, tenant organization, intake and assessment, co-occurring disorders, community outreach, and program developmentCompany OverviewS:US IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERJoin a team of employees who care about the wellbeing of others.
