Job Title : Senior IT Business Systems Analyst
Job Type : W2/C2C
Experience : 8-15 years
Location : Plano, Texas
Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, IT Analysis, or a related role.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements.
- Hands-on experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and process documentation.
- Experience working across cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Strong knowledge of business process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews and requirements workshops.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation, analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Strong experience supporting UAT, including test planning, test scenarios, test cases, defect tracking, and business-user coordination.
- Lead requirements-gathering activities through stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and discovery meetings.
- Analyze business processes, systems, workflows, and functional requirements to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, business process documentation, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, project managers, developers, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and effectively manage discussions involving complex business and technical requirements.
- Manage and track requirements, user stories, defects, and related work items using Jira.
- Work with technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, perform analysis, and support testing activities.
