A Day in the Life at Lansing: CDL Driver () HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Drivers day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)CDL Driver Responsibilities:Lives the mission statementActsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer serviceSplits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouseUses a moffett forklift to make deliveriesInteracts with customers and or crews at job sitesProvides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customerand constantly strive to improve that level of serviceKeeps warehouse clean and orderlyThis is a get-the-job-done kind of may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting such as cycle counts inventory inside sales Driver Qualifications:CDL B (or A) license is required for this positionCDL Driver must have a clean driving recordHave moffett forklift experienceAbility to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger teamAbility and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 poundsExperience withbuilding productsis very helpfulStrong customer service skills high integrity and a positive attitudeAt leastoneyear ofdriving experienceForklift certification and experience with a piggyback truckDRV123
