About the Role: Are you looking to build a long-term, high-paying career in the trades? We are seeking a reliable, motivated Shop Helper to support our daily plumbing and HVAC operations. This entry-level position serves as a direct stepping-stone toward entering our Union HVAC or Plumbing Apprenticeship Program . You will learn the industry from the ground up, handle shop inventory and jobsite deliveries, and gain hands-on exposure to help you transition into a full Union Technician role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliveries & Logistics: Safely deliver equipment, parts, and materials to residential and commercial jobsites using company vehicles.
• Shop Maintenance: Organize inventory, restock plumbing/HVAC supplies, load and unload trucks, and keep the shop clean and efficient.
• Field Support: Assist senior HVAC and plumbing technicians on jobsites when needed, getting real-world field experience.
• Equipment Management: Stage tools and materials for upcoming jobs and maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 50 lbs regularly.
• Forklift Experience: Prior experience operating a forklift is preferred (or willingness to learn).
• Towing Experience: Experience driving with and maneuvering a trailer is a strong plus.
• Work Ethic: Strong attendance, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward learning the trades.
