Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery RN to provide exceptional obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through postpartum. The role involves delivering family-centered, safe, and high-quality nursing services in a modern, well-equipped unit.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor obstetric patients continuously to ensure safety and well-being.
  
  
• 
  Conduct fetal monitoring and interpret electronic fetal heart rate tracings accurately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient education, emotional support, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
  
  
• 
  Assist in managing obstetric emergencies and perform routine clinical procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess OB Triage experience and previous travel nursing background.
  
  
• 
  Maintain an active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license.
  
  
• 
  Have current fetal monitoring certification, preferably C-EFM or AWHONN Intermediate.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, adaptability, and team collaboration.
