Mail & Distribution Coordinator

Sybex Support Services Inc.

Core Responsibilities
* Receive, sort and distribute mail, couriers and packages.
* Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, weighing and documentation.
* Operate postage meters, mail inserters and other mailroom equipment.
* Support receiving dock and distribution activities.
* Maintain clean, organized and secure mailroom/storage areas.
* Track and replenish mailroom supplies/inventory.
* Maintain records of mail, packages and inventory.
* Identify and report delivery issues/discrepancies.
* Provide coverage during absences and peak periods.

Ideal Candidate
* Mailroom, shipping/receiving, warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
* Comfortable handling high volumes accurately.
* Basic computer/data-recording skills.
* Able to learn and troubleshoot basic mailroom equipment.
* Strong organization, communication and customer-service skills.
* Can work independently and with a team.
* Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Reliable and flexible with changing priorities.
