PI Litigation Associate Attorney (Bilingual Spanish) - Chicago

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury to join a growing and highly successful plaintiff-side litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced trial attorney who is passionate about advocating for injured clients and handling high-value personal injury matters from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, courtroom experience, and a proven ability to manage cases while delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities: Manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases throughout the litigation process Conduct case investigations to establish liability and evaluate damages Draft, file, and argue motions, oppositions, discovery motions, and other litigation-related pleadings Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with attorneys and support staff Maintain regular communication with clients and guide them through each phase of litigation Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs and memoranda Handle complex and high-value injury matters through settlement or trial Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license and good standing with the applicable State Bar Bilingual in English and Spanish required Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience Strong trial background with at least 3 civil jury trials to verdict Extensive knowledge of personal injury laws, procedures, and litigation strategy Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Proven ability to independently manage cases and meet litigation deadlines Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Preferred Skills: Experience handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex personal injury matters Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple active litigation files simultaneously Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $115,000 - $185,000 annually , depending on experience Medical insurance 401(k) with 4% fully vested safe harbor employer match 12 paid holidays annually 10 days paid vacation 6 paid sick days annually Continuing education and professional development budget Regular firm-sponsored events and team-building activities Direct Counsel
