The Pharmacist fills orders for medications, monitors patient's drug therapies and provides drug information. The pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) preferred. Experience in acute care setting required.
