PRN Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Assignment

This role offers a 13-week PRN travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assignment in a long-term care facility near Logan, Kansas. The position provides up to $28 per hour and flexible day or night shifts. It is ideal for CNAs seeking short-term, as-needed work in a supportive rural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs as directed
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow resident care plans, infection-control procedures, and facility safety standards
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life
• Collaborate with nurses and other members of the long-term care team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Kansas or ability to obtain before starting
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required based on facility guidelines)
• Previous CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior care (preferred)
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, resident-focused approach
• Flexibility to work PRN day or night shifts based on facility needs
