HVAC Specialist

Altasciences is focused on discovering, developing, and manufacturing new drug therapies to bring them to patients faster. We are looking for an HVAC Specialist to maintain the infrastructure that supports our operations. About The Role As an HVAC Specialist, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with applicable standards. What You’ll Do Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and repair malfunctions, troubleshooting issues and replacing faulty components. Inspect HVAC systems and components for compliance with safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients and addressing their concerns. Record maintenance and repair work, including type and cost of services. What You’ll Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC technology is preferred. 3–5 years of proven experience as an HVAC technician/specialist with strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. HVAC Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Preferred Skills EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling. What We Offer The pay range for this position is $30.00–$39.00 per hour. Hourly rates vary within the range based on experience, skills, education, certification, and location.
